WhatsApp is trying its best to enable more security features as it already updated whatsApp with end-to-end encryption. Millions of people across the globe are using whatsApp to communicate with friends and acquaintance. People also share media files through whatsApp which are secured by end-to-end encryption. But there is a small flaw in whatsApp. When a user lost his mobile, the stranger who finds the mobile can mess with the contacts and groups in the whatsApp.
A stranger who steals or finds your phone can use your whatsapp by inserting his sim and he will get a verification code to the mobile. This way there are chances for fraud activities and is very danger for the users. The stranger can make fun or abuse anyone in your whatsApp contacts or posting something in the whatsApp groups. But do not worry now whatsApp has brought a new security feature.
With this new security feature you can enable two-step verification when re-installing whatsApp. After getting an OTP sms for mobile verification you can also enable a 6-digit password. This will restrict the user from mis-using your whatsApp. The stranger cannot access your whatsApp unless he enters the 6-digit pin. This is a great security feature from whatsApp as it already enabled a security feature with which third parties cannot indulge in your whatsApp.
