Taapsee Pannu made her debut in Telugu film industry and now she is doing some Bollywood films. But recently, Taapsee made some controversial comments on Tollywood and Telugu legendary director K. Raghavender Rao. Taapsee said “I made my debut under this senior director who had the reputation of having midas touch in launching actresses. He launched the likes of Sridevi, Jayasudha etc a few decades ago. He is known to show the sensuality of an actress by showing her midriff and hitting it with fruits and flowers”.
“I prepared myself to be hit with this director’s flowers and fruits after watching Sridevi and Jayaprada’s videos from his films. When my turn came, my midriff was hit by a coconut… I don’t know what is so sensuous about hitting an actress’ midriff with coconut,” she mockingly said. Southern film industry treated me as only a glam-doll and the audiences here were shocked to my acting prowess in Bollywood films – Pink and Naam Shabana”.
This is really shameful for Taapsee as she insulted both Tollywood and director K Raghavendra Rao who gave her life in films and introduced Taapsee to film industry. Taapsee made her debut with ‘Jummandhi Nadham’ directed by KRR.
