A non-bailable warrant was issued by Mumbai court on Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. He was accused for threatening filmmaker Shakil Noorani. This story has started long back in 2002 when Sanjay Dutt promised to do a film with Bollywood’s filmmaker Shakil Noorani. But due to certain reasons Sanjay Dutt cancelled the film at last moment.
Shakil claimed that he received many death threats from underworld mafia on behalf of Sanjay Dutt. Shakil claimed that Sanjay Dutt should repay his money of Rs. 50 lakh which he has taken as advance and Rs. 2 crore for loss of the film. Shakil Noorani made all the arrangements and at last moment Sanjay Dutt cancelled the film and this has left Shakil in over Rs 2 crore losses.
Shakil Noorani has filed the case long back but Sanjay Dutt has skipped two court sessions earlier without any response. Finally the Mumbai court has issued non-bailable warrant on Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt earlier got out from jail as he was alleged for having illegal weapons in his house during the terror attacks. Now this new case from Shakil is a big blow for the Bollywood actor.
However Sanjay Dutt has filed a review petition on the decision taken by the Supreme Court. But there were no chances for changing the decision taken by Supreme Court. Sanjay Dutt at any cost should compensate Shakil for his losses or he has to face severe consequences from the Court. Will court reconsider its decision in punishing Sanjay Dutt?
