Mitsubishi Lancer 2017

Mitsubishi Grand Lancer got leaked before its release in April. This new model from Lancer is exclusively for China and Taiwan automobile markets. There is no official announcement of launching Grand Lancer in other countries. There are many new modifications in the new 2017 grand lancer with a new engine. The new grand lancer comes with 4J MIVEC engine by replacing the old 4B MIVEC engine.

2017 Grand Lancer comes with 1.8 liter engine capacity and also features a 8-inch LCD display screen at center dashboard. It contains two air bags at front for safety of the driver and passenger while it comes with a spacious cabin. Three people can sit in rear with good comfort. The main reason of launching grand lancer only in China and Taiwan is, Mitsubishi has got a strong presence in the Taiwanese market when compared to rest of the countries.

However Mitsubishi is now a subsidiary of Nissan and may release more c-segment sedans. Mitsubishi stated that the Grand Lancer would be the last model in this series. The front end of the new lancer is a bit curved than the previous lancer while the rear design have been modified and increased in height too. The alloy wheels were updated when compared to the existing lancer model.

The gear box and the side door panel has got a new look in the Grand Lancer 2017.  In the new lancer, sound deadening materials have been implemented in the panels. The 2017 lancer model will also feature a reversing camera with a multi functioning steering. The grand lancer of Mitsubishi is packed with some amazing features like Accident warning system (AWS), Emergency brake warning system (EBWS) and much more.
