Kawasaki has launched a new sports bike in India as it recently released few models in the country. Kawasaki has got a good market in India and it is looking forward to improve its sales and position in the Indian premium two-wheeler market. Kawasaki Z250 is the new beast from the company and it is launched in India on April 22nd. However the new Z250 bike is good but with minimum upgrades.

It shares similar qualities of Z900 and Z1000 in terms of design. The new Kawasaki Z250 is already launched in Indonesia and it is seen in two different colors, Grey and orange. The saddest thing in Kawasaki Z250 is it doesn’t get any ABS support. The bike is a medium-range bike with stylish design and extravagant features. Kawasaki is a dream bike for many youngsters out there.

Kawasaki Z250 specifications

This new beast is powered by a powerful 249cc engine which is liquid cooled again. The new Z250 from Kawasaki can deliver 32 PS power which produces 11,000rpm and 21Nm torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. The telescopic forks at front side measures over 37mm. The disc pads are quite descent with290mm disc pad at front and a 220mm disc pad at rear.

Kawasaki Z250 has got a huge fuel tank which can fit in over 17 liters of fuel. The ground clearance of the bike gets over 145mm and this sports bike weighs around 168 Kgs. The bike is real fast as it can hit 100 kph in just 8.2 seconds and can reach top speed of around 165 kmph. The wheelbase of Z250 is 1400mm.

Kawasaki Z250 price

Kawasaki Z250 is priced at Rs 3.09 lakh and this is not a cheap price for this classic sports bike. This new model from Kawasaki will clash with KTM 200 Duke, CBR 250 R and the new Benelli TNT 25 which comes under the same category.
