Honda is all set to release its new car WR-V which will join the company of CR-V and BR-V. The interior seats are bit similar to Honda’s Jazz. Honda WR-V dashboard is coated with black color and has a touch screen at center. The dis-advantage of WR-V is that it has no start/stop push button. Honda WR-V is already launched in America and now it is making its way to India.
The Honda WR-V is powered with a 1.5 liter four cylinder engine which produces 120hp. Honda WR-V has a five speed manual gearbox. India would be the first country to get RHD Honda WR-V. The Honda WR-V will be available in four different colors likely orange, red, black and white in the first release. This model was manufactured in the Brazil plant. This is the reason the Honda WR-V is first released in South America.
Honda WR-V will fight on the roads with Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Brezza and also Ford Eco Sport. The manufacturing has been started in the India at Rajasthan plant. Honda WR-V was unveiled in Sao Paulo auto show at Brazil. This model is like a sibling of Honda Jazz as it has got some of the features from it. Honda WR-V is just like an SUV model as it has got wider dimensions, high ground clearance and great wheelbase.
Honda WR-V will be available in both petrol and diesel versions. The petrol version supports 1.2 liter i-VTEC engine and the diesel version will feature 1.5 liter i-DTEC turbo engine. The gearbox will be implemented separately as petrol version gets an5-speed manual gearbox and a diesel version gets a 6-speed manual gearbox. No automatic gearbox will be implemented in WR-V. However the price of Honda WR-V is not yet announced officially but will launch in the month of March.
