Hold your grounds! 2017 Honda CBR 1000RR is here! Honda has unveiled its new CBR 1000RR 2017 model in Bangkok. Honda CBR 1000RR will be released in India by the end of 2017. The new Honda CBR 1000RR is a classic sports bike which is more powerful and faster than the existing CBR models. The latest Honda CBR 1000RR also dropped almost a pound weight compared to its earlier models.
This new sports bike from Honda gets the all new slipper clutch which is exclusively assisted by Honda. This new beast is available in three different models and even the price varies for each model. The CBR 1000RR is one of the much awaited sports bike and the wait is over! The Honda’s latest sports bike is all set to hit the roads and will rule the premium bikes in two-wheeler market.
2017 Honda CBR 1000RR specifications
The latest CBR 1000RR has got a bit slimmer than the old model in terms of tank and seating. CBR 1000RR is full of surprises as it gets complete LED taillights at front and also at rear. The Showa balance free rear cushion is adjustable at rear end which is a cool feature and it has got a 43mm huge piston Showa forks at front.
The engine is a pure beasty with 999cc DOHC four-cylinder engine. Not to forget that it is liquid cooled engine which can produce 189hp at 13,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque. Honda CBR 1000RR is mated with a six-speed transmission. The bike also has an additional option for anti-lock brakes.
As I have mentioned already that Honda CBR is the lightest of all the CBR models. Honda reduced almost a pound than the old model CBR. The slipper clutch which is used in MotoGP bikes is implemented even in the CBR 1000RR. This new beast gets 5 spoke wheels replacing the earlier 6 spoke wheels.
