Fiat’s new flagship Argo is once again spotted while testing on international speedway in Brazil. Fiat will unveil the Argo model in Brazil this month but few renders of Fiat Argo are now creating quite a buzz. Fiat Argo was seen with black covers at front and also at rear. The spy shots were captured and the full images of Argo not seen yet.
This new Fiat Argo will replace the existing Fiat Punto and even the Palio. The latest Fiat Argo can be called as mini-sedan and gives a descent hatchback look. Fiat Argo will be available in three different trims: Essence, Attractive and Sporting. Fiat is also looking forward to implement three different engines in the new Argo. The three trims are categorized as base model, mid-tier and top end.
The basic level model gets 1.0 liter FireFly three-cylinder engine which can produce 72 hp of power at 101.99 Nm of torque. The engine runs on petrol and is coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. The mid-tier model gets 1.3 liter Firefly four cylinder engine which can produce 101 hp of power at 143.35 Nm torque. This mid-tier Argo comes with two options: A standard 5-speed manual gear box and also a 5-speed Dualogic automated manual transmission.
The top end model of Fiat Argo has powerful specifications as it gets 1.8 liter E.Torq Evo engine which has a capacity to produce 135 hp of power at 184.37 Nm of torque. The model gets two different options for gearbox: A 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. In the recent times, Fiat has seen a massive downfall in its sales and it is hoping for best with the new Fiat Argo.
