Even before he completed one year in the office as the Minister of State (Independent Charge) of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Anil Madhav Dave passed away today owing to Lung Cancer. 60 year old Anil Madhav Dave was a noted environmentalist and also the Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha.
He represented Madhya Pradesh in Rajya Sabha as an MP since 2009. He was part of the Modi’s Cabinet since the reshuffle in July, 2016. He was born in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He was an ardent follower of BJP since the start of his political career. He studied in Indore.
He paved the way for the creation of Asbestos Free India, by strongly opposing the use of the harmful material by mankind as it causes lung disorders. Such a good human being is no more. It is a big blow to the environmental peace in our country.
Let us pray for his soul to Rest in Peace (RIP). Let us hope India finds another environmental lover for the ministry.
