Here is a cheapest and affordable of all BMW products. A BMW G310 R is the smallest capacity bike which is really affordable by the middle class people. It is a dream for many people to drive BMW vehicles but the price of the vehicles will keep middle class people away from BMW. To capture the mid-range market, BMW has come up with affordable G310 R. The German manufacturer has finally entered India with BMW Motorrad.
Two BMW motor bikes will be launched in India by June, 2017. The BMW G310 R and a GS310 are the two variants from BMW. However, BMW partnered with TVS to manufacture BMW motor bikes in India while TVS is responsible for manufacturing and BMW will look after the technology and design. The BMW G310 R has been spotted on the Indian roads without any covers.
According to few sources, BMW will export the motor bikes to Europe, Australia and other Asian parts which were manufactured in India. The BMW G310 R is first seen in the Auto Expo and the G310 R comes with a 313cc engine that delivers 34bhp which is coupled with 6-speed constant gearbox. The G310 R has dual disc while the front disc pad comes with 300mm and the rear disc with 240mm supported ABS.
The new BMW G310R is available in three colors: White, Blue and Black. TVS is also thinking on developing a similar motor bike which has been named as Akula as TVS partnered with BMW and the production will be started soon. The premium and high end motor cycle manufactureers are trying to grab the Indian market as there is huge demand for the motor bikes in India. Recently even KTM has updated its motor bikes and the new BMW G310 R is a perfect opponent for KTM390 Duke.

price range of BMW G310R may reach Rs 3.2 to 4lakh. However there is no official announcement on how the BMW bikes will be sold as there are no specific showrooms for BMW motorbikes. It is yet to known whether BMW would open new motor bike showrooms or it would sell them in the BMW car showrooms. There are also chances of selling in the TVS showrooms as BMW partnered with TVS in manufacturing of the motor bikes.
