Google’s latest Android version 7.0 Nougat is getting faster adoption than before but the weird thing is it may take a while to run on more active devices. You might not believe what I’m going to say but it’s true! A very low number of users are using android 7.0 version. Out of all the active users globally, just 4.9 % of them are using Android nougat.
Google is slowly rolling out the new update to the users and still many devices didn’t receive the update. Android version 6.0 Marshmallow is being used by 31.2 % and in coming days these users may shift to Android version 7.0 Nougat and the percentage of Marshmallow users have already started decreasing. The weird thing is still majority of the users are using Android Lollipop version is running on 32.5% active devices.
Android kit Kat is also running on many devices and it holds 20% of active users who are still using the very old version. Android jelly bean is holds 10% active users. However in the entire android versions, Lollipop stood at first with highest number of active users. Users should get higher version for more features and extra security.
