Actress Amy Jackson has signed-up for a new social-cause campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to promote vegetarianism. The PETA organization is promoting vegetarianism to prevent animal killing and protect birds & animals from getting slaughtered for human needs.
The 25-year-old hot actress can be seen dressed in plastic wrap and impaled by a metal hook to her body which looks violent and is portraying the suffer of animals when they got killed for consumption purposes. The poster also showcases a tagline saying “Hooked on Meat? Go Vegetarian.” The poster was released just ahead of world Meat Free Day (June 12) and the photoshoot was done by top photographer Abhay Singh.
Amy Jackson stated “(M)eat products can cause cancer, heart disease, obesity and many other diseases. So, for cutting all of that out… it’s just a no-brainer that we’re going to be a lot healthier. “(M)y skin’s got a lot clearer. I’ve noticed a change in my body. I’ve noticed a change in my metabolism. So I feel a lot healthier, a lot lighter, with a lot more energy also.” says the robo 2.0 actress.
