Amir Khan demands 70% of film’s profit, first actor to do so

In Bollywood its quite common that the top heroes take shares in profits along with remuneration. The three khans, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan demands shares in the profits. Even the producers will agree to these conditions as these top stars are having enormous following and they guarantee minimum profits. Producers will give certain percentage of shares in the profits demanded by these top heroes.

We all have witnessed storm of Dangal in India and also in foreign countries. Recently, Dangal has captured the box office of China and became the first ever Indian film to cross Rs 1000 crore mark in China. Dangal has dominated the Chinese films and got more collections than the Chinese films and this has shocked the entire film industry.

With Dangal, Amir Khan proved his stardom and we all know that Amir Khan got Rs 35 crore as remuneration and also 33 percent in the film’s profit. Now the actor is currently acting in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ and Amir khan has demanded a massive share in profits and that’s even more than the producer share in the film’s profit. Amir Khan demanded 70% share in the profits.

Many people are criticizing that Amir Khan has become money minded and his eagerness for money has grown to great extent. While some people are saying that this is the proof of Amir Khan’s stardom and even with 30% share, the producer can get profits of 300 crore. Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh are also playing lead roles in the film.
